OMEGA EQUITY FUND LTD. is a long-term open-ended Fund that seeeks to deliver superior returns in the long-term.
The Fund seeks to achieve its objective through investment in a diversified portfolio of equities and fixed income securities to meet the liquidity needs of the Fund.
It is the manager's intention not to invest less than 70% of its net assets in equities and to invest not more than 30% of its net assets in money market and fixed income securities.
The Fund would maintain a re-balancing range of plus or minus 10% for each asset class.

Kwesi is a Director of Mega African Capital Limited. Kwesi was an Executive Director of Databank Asset Management, one of the leading asset management firms in West Africa. He was instrumental in establishing Databank Asset Management in 1996 and spearheaded its growth until his departure in September 2008. In 1996, Kwesi encouraged five employees of the Central Bank of Ghana to set up an investment club called EPACK with less than US$50. Under his leadership and management, this Fund grew to become one of the largest African funds with assets in excess of USD 90 million and investments in eight African stock markets. Kwesi was an instructor in fund management at the West African Capital Markets School which has trained over hundred and fifty Ghanaians and Nigerians in portfolio management. His previous experience includes working with the National Grid Plc in the United Kingdom and the Volta River Authority in Ghana.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Kumasi, Ghana), an MSc. in Power Engineering from the Strathclyde University (Glasgow) and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management (United Kingdom). Kwesi is currently the Board Chairman of Omega Capital Limited, a Board Member of Metropolitan Insurance Company, Mechanical Lloyd Company, Haradali Capital (Tanzania), Zigma Investment Club and Acorn Properties Limited.
Dr. John-Mark Akandekumtiim is a Financial/Investment Analyst, a banker and an Economist, and currently the Executive Director Finance & Administration of Lots-Services Ghana Limited (an Information Technology Support Services Company). He is currently an adjunct lecturer at Heritage Christian College based in Accra. He also lectures as an adjunct in Quantitative Methods at the Graduate School, Pentecost University in Accra, Ghana and also a part-time Course Instructor on Capital Market Operations at the Bank of Ghana Training Centre. He has served as the Deputy Head of Treasury at First Atlantic Bank Ltd., where He supervised dealings as well as dealt on the inter-bank foreign exchange and money markets, monitored Correspondent Bank accounts to ensure adequate funding and maximization of returns, monitored forex and money market developments and prepared Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO) reports for strategic decision making.
Having obtained tremendous Corporate Finance, Research and Investment Management experience Dr. John-Mark worked on a variety of projects in the areas of Initial Public Offerings, Private Placement of shares, Financial Valuations, Feasibility Studies, Business Plans, Corporate Strategic Plans, Investment Research, among others.
Dr. John-Mark holds a Doctor of Philosophy – PhD in Economics from the University of South Africa and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Ghana. He is also a Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) by the International Academy of Business Financial Management, U.S.A.
Irene Bebaako-Mensah is a Chartered Banker and was with the Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd. Prior to this appointment, she has held various leadership positions in the Ghanaian Banking Sector in prestigious institutions like Societe Generale Ghana, Access Bank Ghana and the erstwhile Royal Bank Ltd.
She began her career in the Ghanaian financial industry with Gold Coast Securities Limited as a Treasury Officer. She shifted her focus to the Banking Sector following her desire to work closely with Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs). She began this new chapter with an employment opportunity as a Product Officer with SSB Bank Ltd, (now Societe Generale Ghana Plc). Her passion and hard work led to her appointment as the leader, SME Office at the Okaishie Branch, SSB Bank Limited. She held various positions in her ten-year stay at SSB Bank in different Departments. She transferred her talents to Access Bank briefly where she served as a Relationship Manager for the Osu Branch. Her passion and talents were put to the test in the establishment and positioning of the Royal Bank, where she worked in various roles. After a six-year stint, her impressive record coupled with key achievements from previous employments facilitated her smooth transition to Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts (Economics & French option) from the University of Ghana, Legon and an Executive Masters in Business Administration (Project Management option). She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers – Ghana, and holds other professional certifications, which include: Graduate Diploma in Management from International Professional Managers Association - UK, Final Professional Diploma in Administration from Chartered institute of Administration and Management Consultants - Ghana, a Certificate in Public Relations, Marketing & Advertising from Ghana Institute of Journalism - Accra, and she has undertaken the Ghana Stock Exchange Securities Courses.
