Mr. Ernest Tannor is an accomplished Investment Banker and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) with over 15 years of progressive experience in portfolio management, financial research, and corporate finance. He currently leads the investment operations at CIDAN Investments Limited, where he is responsible for strategic direction, portfolio performance, and risk management.

As CIO, Ernest provides visionary leadership in developing and implementing investment strategies aligned with both local and global market dynamics. His expertise spans asset allocation, portfolio optimization, and financial research, ensuring sustainable growth and superior returns for clients and stakeholders. He also plays a key role in institutional relationship management, due diligence, and design of risk management strategies to minimize exposure to market volatilities.

Throughout his career at CIDAN Investments Limited, Ernest has steadily advanced through various leadership roles, starting from Officer to Senior Manager and now Chief Investment Officer, demonstrating exceptional analytical acumen, strong leadership, and commitment to organizational excellence. His responsibilities have encompassed driving investment strategies, managing portfolios, financial research, client advisory, human resource oversight, and reporting to regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA).

Ernest holds an MBA in Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds a certificate in Securities Industry Course from the Ghana Stock Exchange, further solidifying his foundation in capital markets.
