What is Omega Equity Fund?
A long-term open-ended fund that seeks to deliver superior returns in the long-term by investing in a diversified portfolio of stocks and fixed income securities.
Fund Structure
The Fund will invest in equity securities trading on the Ghana Stock Exchange and any other regulated stock market, as well as fixed income securities such as Corporate Bonds and Fixed Deposits, Government debt instruments and Certificates of deposits.

Requirements to start Omega Equity Fund
- Valid National ID Card
- 2 passport-size pictures.
- A completed Omega Income Fund application form (Forms can be obtained from our offices or website: cidaninvestments.com
- Duly completed and signed Signature Card.
- Minimum initial investment amount.
How long must I invest in the Fund?
- Each contribution should be invested in the Fund for a minimum of 5 years.
- For investments below 5 years, an exit load of between 4%-1% is charged when withdrawing your money.

What returns do I make on my investment
Price appreciation, i.e., the upward movement of Omega Equity Fund share price.
What charges do I incur?
- Management fee of 2% p.a. (indirect charge on the whole Fund)
- Other Expenses of 5% p.a. (indirect charge on the whole Fund)
- Quoted returns are net of all charges
What are the Exit Charges?
Redemptions before the minimum Five-Year holding period will attract redemption charges from 1% to 4%. Investments redeemed after the Five-year holding period will not attract any charges.
What are the Risks of Investing in the Fund?
- The possibility that the Issuer of a fixed income security may be unable to make interest payments and / repay the principal on its debt.
- Fluctuations in the value of a fixed-income security resulting from changes in the general level of interest rates.
- Fluctuations or volatility in share prices inherent in investing in equities on the Ghana Stock Exchange or other regulated markets approved by SEC.
- The probability of the share price of the Fund falling below the current purchase price thereby reducing the value of your investment.
- The effect of currency risk as a result of the cedi losing value against international currencies.
How do I get information on my investment?
- A contract note showing the number of Omega Equity Fund shares purchased, amount contributed and the purchase price will be mailed to client.
- Monthly, Quarterly, Half year and Annual Statement will be mailed to client.

How do I take part or all of my money?
- Complete a redemption form and submit to the Manager.
- Redemptions will be processed within 10 working days.
- Payments are made by cheque or transferred into clients bank (An indemnity form will have to completed by clients who request for transfer into their account)
- For withdrawals, a minimum of GH20.00 is to be left on the account.

Omega Equity Fund is managed by CIDAN Investments Limited, a licensed investment Fund Manager. CIDAN Investments also manages funds for Corporate and High Net Wealth Individuals and Pension Funds.
